Family Camp is right around the corner! May 24 to 26th—mark your calendars and be ready for some fun! We will be going to Skyline again this year. There are a lot of activities for everyone including: fishing, canoeing, archery, hayrides, swimming (weather permitting), hiking, biking, campfires, family skits, singing, s’mores, drumming, shelter building and obstacle courses. Families of all sizes and ages are welcome! Registration is online at www.campskyline.org. If you would like a room in Focus Hall register early before they fill up, cabins and tent sites are also available.

The congregation will elect new church officers, approve the terms of call for the Pastor, and review the work of the Session and Deacons in 2012.
Our youth will serve a soup and bread lunch Sunday following the congregational meeting. The BASS Church School class has painted bowls that will be silently auctioned. All proceeds from lunch and bowls will go to local food banks.
“Shrove Tuesday” falls on Tuesday, February 12. Parish Life will be flipping endless pancakes for you, your friends and family starting at 5:30 pm. in the Fellowship Hall, so stop for supper and enjoy. If you would like to help, please sign up at the kiosk. Thanks.
Ash Wednesday Worship will be Wednesday, February 13 at 7:00 pm. The nursery will be staffed.
The Intergenerational Talent Show & Pot Luck Supper, scheduled for Sunday, January 27 at 5:30 pm, has been cancelled due to threatening weather.

Women and the Bible. Today’s class: “Re-reading Difficult Passages,” led by Dr. Emily Conroy-Krutz and Rev. Alice Townley in the Chapel. Next week: “How the Bible Inspired Historical Women.”
The talent show and dinner will be next Sunday, January 27, at 5:30 pm. Please sign up at the kiosk to bring a salad, main dish or dessert; or on the bulletin board to share your talent.
Please don’t forget to bring in personal needs items for the homeless. Gather those items from your travels to help us in our mission work.
