Christian Perspectives on Other Religions

The three classes in Part II explore the wide variety of ways that Christians have understood the existence of people who worship other deities over past 2000 years, especially by referring to scriptural resources, changes in the political and cultural contexts of church history, and some modern theologies of religions.

An assistant professor in Religious Studies at MSU will draw on his expertise in religions of South Asia and his prior training in Presbyterian and Lutheran seminaries. Adult education starts at approximately 11:30 a.m.
