Race and Social Justice with Nibs Stroupe March 18

On Sunday, March 18, Rev. ʺNibsʺ Stroupe will be our guest preacher. After worship, he and his wife Caroline Leach will lead our Adult Education class and do a book signing for Nibs’ recent book, Deeper Waters: Sermons for a New Vision. They will lead us in a discussion about social justice and building a multi-cultural church. Now retired, the Stroupes served for many years as the co‐pastors of Oakhurst Presbyterian Church in Atlanta. They have long been an outspoken voice for racial and social justice within the PC(USA) and nationwide. Together, they are the authors of Oh Lord, Hold Our Hands: How a Church Thrives in a Multicultural World (2003).
