Members of the PCO Mission Committee– along with Pastor Peggy and her husband– coordinated the preparation of 125 bagged lunches for delivery to Advent House, a Lansing based nonprofit housed in North Westminster Presbyterian Church. Congregation kids decorated the paper lunch bags with a variety of colorful drawings. Church members donated apples, applesauce, cookies and bottled water. Mission funds provided KFC chicken and biscuits to complete the lunches. The lunches were bagged and delivered to Advent House by volunteers, including Bill Given who sits on Advent House’s board, on August 22, 2020. Susan Cancro, Advent House Executive Director, thanked everyone at PCO for our “great care and commitment.”
