Confirmation is learning what it means to be a disciple of Jesus Christ in your own life and in the world. The tradition of confirmation has long been to welcome youth into membership in the church. Too often, they join then disappear. This year’s mission-based curriculum – Changing the World: Confirmation for the Missional Church – will approach confirmation as a beginning, rather than an ending point.
Confirmation Sunday is September 8 as we bless students into their journey of learning what it means to follow Christ. Classes will meet monthly on the first Sunday and there will be retreats built in as well.
