A Moldovan / Ukrainian meal will be shared during adult education hour on Sunday, Sept. 18. We will learn more about what the organization Friends of Moldova is doing to support 83,000 Ukrainian refugees who have recently found sanctuary in Moldova. The president of Friends of Moldova, Bartosz Gawarecki, and one of its advisors, Hannah Gardi, will be speaking about local efforts. There will not be a charge for lunch, but donations are encouraged and all proceeds will go to support the Friends of Moldova in further efforts.
