What do Hagar, Naomi, David and Job have in common? They all experienced times of great suffering in their lives and reached out to God for understanding and intervention.
We will consider their unique situations, their responses to difficult circumstances, and what their stories may teach us about suffering in our own lives. Short video clips from Vanderbilt Divinity Professor Dr. Amy-Jill Levine will be included.
