This Lent we offered an invitation to feast at the table of God’s word and to share simple meals with others on the journey. Bread is more than fuel for getting through the day. It is also a call to be present with everyone God is calling to the banquet.
Each Thursday, from February 15 through March 21, we gathered to explore the relationship between who Jesus is and who we are called to be in relation to Jesus, our faith community and the world. We used curriculum based on The Hunger for Home: Food & Meals in the Gospel of Luke by Matthew Croasmun & Miroslav Volf.
